Biography

Sarah Bois started to play the flute at ten years old, in the area of Avignon.

Later, she studied four years in Nîmes Conservatory, two years in Aix-en-Provence Conservatory with Jean-Marc Boissière and have been accepted at 21 in Brussels Royal Conservatory.

Two years later, she got her Bachelor degree and joined Vincent Cortvrint’s class in Amsterdam Conservatory.

She had lessons with several great flutists, like Julien Beaudiment, Gaby Pas van Riet, Valerie Debaele, Michel Moraguès…

She is one of the creators of the new youth orchestra called Taffanel Wind Ensemble Society, based in Brussels, and specialized in modern music.

Member of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, she had also the chance to play a couple of times in the London Symphony Orchestra, with the Belgian National Orchestra, the Liege Royal Philharmonic Orchestra…

She learned a lot from these amazing orchestras and developed a strong passion for orchestra.

She is also practicing visual arts and dance, and very interested by connections between all arts.
